Shopping with a Conscious – Top B Corp Brands to Follow

Consumer products are constantly changing, some good and some not worth mentioning. I love seeing more and more organic food and sustainable non-toxic products on store shelves. In fact we have nearly 20,000 natural food stores and 3 out of 4 conventional grocery stores are carrying organic choices which means organic sales account for over 4 percent of the total U.S. food sales each year. That is huge!! People want healthier choices for themselves and families and it’s showing through the amount of new organic products being produced each day. But, can we do more? Can we make the products even better? The answer is yes!

Companies can go that extra mile to make sure the products they produce are not only healthy for those consuming them but also healthy for the environment too. When you see the B Corp symbol you know that they meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability, and aspire to use the power of markets to solve social and environmental problems.

Today, there is a growing community of more than 1,600 Certified B Corps from 42 countries and over 120 industries working together toward 1 unifying goal: to redefine success in business. B Corps is a growing movement of people using their businesses as a force for good. Using their collective voice to be part of something bigger than just selling products. B Corp companies advocate for change to protect the rights of everyone involved with the company. These companies want to use their business as a force for good…don’t you want to be a part of that too? You can, by shopping with a conscious and purchasing products that are B Corp certified.

Stonyfield B Corp

Stonyfield (my favorite yogurt company) recently became B Corp certified which is a natural progression for a company like them. To celebrate they wanted us to share some of their favorite B Corp brands that share the same mission.

B Corp Kitchen Soap and Toothbrush

All of Method products can be easily found in many stores and they are coming up with new products all the time. This kitchen hand soap isn’t just for the kitchen…got boys? Me too! Stinky hands are everywhere!! So after the kids wash their hands they can brush their teeth using a Preserve toothbrush made from recycled plastic.

B Corp Stonyfield Yogurt

Need an afternoon snack or quick breakfast? Stonyfield has tons of options and mixing Purely Elizabeth granola in their yogurt is amazing.

B Corp Flour

Perfect afternoon treat! A nice cup of Pukka Turmeric Tea with these amazing blueberry lemon scones. When baking (or cooking in general) by all means, use the best ingredients possible. Using ingredients like King Arthur and fresh eggs such as Pete & Gerry’s allows you to make great foods that you can feel good about eating.

These are just a few of the amazing B Corp brands, you can easily find many more businesses to support. Create change with your pocket book. Purchase products that make the world a little better….one product at a time!

This post was sponsored by Stonyfield. All my opinions are my own.

    Hi Trina,
I had truthfully never heard about the B corporations, but it sure sounds wonderful. We need more programs like this and I have noticed that more and more people are concerned about what they are consuming in foods and other products too. Thanks for sharing this information and the product reviews. Congratulations of being featured on HHGN blog hop Pinning & tweeting! Have a healthy happy & blessed day!
