REAL FOOD Weekly Menu Plan 2.16.15

Today is actually the coldest day of the year here in the Philadelphia area, and we are getting ready for snow. The kids have off today for Presidents day, and I kind of have a feeling that the kiddos will be home tomorrow if we actually get the amount of snow the news is calling for. OK, enough about my winter problems…lets talk food.  Trying a few new recipes and digging out some of our old time favorites.

Menu Plan February week 2

REAL FOOD Weekly Menu Plan 2.16.15

Monday: It’s Meatless Monday! Headed out for the day and I want to make sure dinner prep will be easy. I love this Roasted Asparagus and Mushroom Pasta recipe which I will serve with some crusty bread.

Tuesday: The Philadelphia area is calling for snow, which I am really excited about. This Balsamic Beef Roast sounds amazing!

Wednesday: Using the leftover beef roast to make French Dip Sandwiches

Thursday: I will be busy preparing for a Essential Oil Facebook class that I am hosting so it’s going to be Leftover Night in our house.

Friday: Keeping it easy with Soup and BLT sandwiches. I have Carrot Ginger soup in the freezer so meal time prep will be super easy.

Saturday: I found this recipe though Sassy in the City weekly menu plan. Thai Salad with Sesame Ginger Dressing which I will serve with sesame chicken.

Sunday: I will be teaching a Kids Cooking Class late in the afternoon so I am putting my husband in charge of dinner.

Just remember when you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with “life” a little organization goes a long way. Most of these meals can be prepared in less than 30 minutes and some can even be fully cooked within that time.     I love this menu! I am working on menu planning. Now to get foods that all 5 of us can agree upon!

      Sarah, I am at the point that I don’t care if someone doesn’t like it. My youngest is so picky but I think the reason why he does eat some new foods is because I don’t give him the same things all the time. It is sooooo frustrating at times but he will thank me when he begins to love interesting foods.
