I seriously can’t believe it’s already November, where has this fall gone? Before we know it we will setting up our Christmas tree….I am not ready for the holidays yet, are you? Things are starting to calm down in our house…if you can believe that! With the time change the boys will not have practice in the evenings so that gives us more flexibility during the week, which makes we VERY happy!
Last week I did pretty good with keeping up with my menu plan. We had a few snags but that’s OK, we can just have those dinners this week. I have a few new recipes I want to try this week and I’ve had some requests for some old favorites. Got any favorite family friendly recipes in your back pocket that are always a hit with those kiddos? Please share in the comments….I am always looking for new healthy meals for my family.
REAL FOOD Weekly Menu Plan 11.3.14
Monday: Headed to Wegmans so I will pick something up there for dinner, it will be a surprise for everyone!
Tuesday: My husband put a request in for French Onion Soup. I love making this soup and freezing the leftovers….perfect for chilly nights.
Thursday: We have dress rehearsal for the Talent Show so we will need to have a quick and easy dinner. Grilled Cheese and Carrot Ginger Soup is on the menu. I made a huge batch of soup a few weeks ago and froze the extras so dinner will take no time at all.
Friday: I am heading to DC for the Moms Rising Food Force Meeting so the boys are on their own.
Saturday: It’s Talent Show night so we will head out to eat to celebrate a job well done!
