REAL FOOD Menu Plan 7.21.14

Real food Menu Plan logoSummer can be tough because you are busier than usual with traveling, and all the other things that go along with summer madness. We have something else that is putting a wrench into our meal plans…..NO STOVE/OVEN! Long story, not worth getting into right now but that just means I need to be more creative with the meals I plan until we can use a stove again. With it being summer we can use the grill, crock pot or Ninja. What are some of your favorite meals to make that don’t require using your stove?

Monday: It’s Meatless Monday and I plan on making grilled vegetable kebabs with Risotto – I will be using the burner on the grill for the risotto so wish me luck!

Tuesday: Taco Tuesday – using grass fed ground beef and mixing in mushrooms, carrots, onions, garlic and kale into the beef.

Wednesday: BBQ Chicken with grilled green beans from the garden

Thursday: Headed to my monthly Cooking Club. It’s a Mexican theme and the host would like me to bring this Mexican Fruit Salad.

Weekend:  We are camping for the weekend with friends. I am sure there will be plenty of hot dogs, hamburgers and other camping fare being served up during the stay. One thing that I know I will be bringing is ingredients for a few easy campfire foil meals that are easy to prepare and serve.
