I can’t believe we are in the 2nd week of May and only have about 4 weeks left of school. I can’t wait actually, because then our sports schedule will calm down and we can get back into a normal routine. I have to say, this week went pretty well with our menu plan. I was able to stay on track and my family loved the meals. I think my husband’s favorite was Clam Chowder which was great for our rainy week. Got any new recipes that your family loves?
I hope my menu plans encourage you to cook healthy and delicious foods for your family. All recipes are easy to make using real food ingredients that you can make within 30 minutes, because heck…no one has time! If this week’s plan doesn’t meet your needs, no worries…I’ve got dozens menu plans for you to choose from.
REAL FOOD Menu Plan 5.8.16
Monday: We have a baseball game at 6pm so it’s going to be leftover night for us.
Tuesday: Instead of tacos for “Taco Tuesday” we will have taco salad.
Wednesday: Breakfast for dinner!
Thursday: Instead of a Meatless Monday we will have a Meatless Thursday – Mushroom Spinach and Artichoke Casserole which is a big hit with my family.
Friday: The boys have been dying for hot dogs, not my favorite but I think we will have them over a bonfire served with baked beans and veggies.
Saturday: Date Night – no cooking for mama!
Sunday: We have a full day of lacrosse and baseball games so I will set up the slow cooker and then have Philly Cheesesteaks ready for when we get home.
So that’s my menu plan for this week…hope it’s inspired you to think outside the box when feeding your family. Just remember when you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with “life” a little organization goes a long way. If you are still looking for inspiration head over to my Menu Plans. On Pinterest?
