Well hello there….you might be wondering where I’ve been these last few weeks. Well we took a family vacation to DISNEY then spent a few days afterwards visiting family in Florida. So, my menu planning has gone out the window but I am getting back into the groove of things. Sports is FINALLY slowing down, I cannot tell you how happy that makes me. We can start getting back into eating as a whole family instead of the kids early and us scraping up their leftovers after sports. This week since it’s feeling a bit like summer I am keeping it easy and doing a lot of grilling and some grab and go options since we have late night games and practices this week.
REAL FOOD Menu Plan 5.17.15
Monday: We have practice starting at 5:45 so we will have grilled cheese with Gazpacho <—— hoping the kids like it!
Tuesday: Family dinner with Shrimp Stir Fry
Wednesday: Baseball and Lacrosse are on the sandwiches so I will make a picnic dinner with healthy sandwiches , fruit and veggies with dips.
Thursday: This is one of our favorite meals and it’s SUPER easy! Grilled Balsamic Chicken with Pasta.
Friday: Grilled Pizzas – if you’ve never done this you should! SO YUMMY!
Saturday: Getting our Memorial Day started early with Burgers on the grill with grilled veggies and baked beans
Sunday: Plans with friends!
Just remember when you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with “life” a little organization goes a long way. Most of these meals can be prepared in less than 30 minutes and some can even be fully cooked within that time. If you are still looking for inspiration head over to my Menu Plans. On Pinterest?
