REAL FOOD Menu Plan 3.9.14

Crock Pot Meals for Busy FamiliesThis week will be busy with basketball games, Talent Show practice and getting ready for my dad to come into town this weekend. With a busy week means we need a easy REAL FOOD Menu Plan. The one thing I hear most from moms is “how can I make homemade meals for my family without spending hours in the kitchen?”. My one go to item in my kitchen for those busy days is my……Crock Pot! It’s a huge lifesaver for me and I hope many of you too. Another great way to save time in the kitchen is to make one pot meals - saves time doing dishes.

REAL Menu Plan

Monday: Our Meatless Monday meal will be - Spinach Artichoke and Mushroom Bake (recipe coming soon)

Tuesday: Mexican Night - Crock Pot Fajitas. I could seriously eat Mexican food daily. (recipe coming soon)

Wednesday: Crock Pot Beef Chuck Roast with roasted vegetables

Thursday: We have leftover Gnocchi Chicken Minestrone in the freezer which will be perfect for the busiest night of our week. I will serve it with homemade bread.

Friday: I will be cleaning and preparing for my dad’s arrival so we are using the leftover beef from the roast for Roast Beef Sandwiches

Saturday: This is a VERY busy day with the Talent Show and the Delaware Mudtub theater event at Plays and Players so a dinner out is very much deserved!

Sunday: It’s the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and with a last name like “O’Boyle” we will be celebrating downtown and hopefully eating some traditional Irish food.
