REAL FOOD Menu Plan 11.17.14

Real Food Menu plan logo 2What a whirlwind of a week, my head is still spinning. Between sports, family events and teaching some O’Boy! Organic cooking classes it’s been non-stop. This week I have a work holiday party, school events, charity event and essential oils party to keep me busy through the week. I need to be extremely organized this week,  not only keep myself on track but also my family.  I may not be apart of dinners, but that doesn’t mean they need to stop. I plan on making use of my crock pot a lot this week so I can have dinner simmering away for my husband to dish out.

What are some easy meals you plan for your family when you are not around?

REAL FOOD Menu Plan 11.17.14

Monday: I will be attending a work holiday party so the Meatless Monday will be simple – Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup

Tuesday: My boys are on a huge salad kick right now (seriously can’t believe it) so I am going with this trend and making Ceaser Salad with Citrus Shrimp and Carrot Ginger Soup

Wednesday: I am doing a mini cooking class with both of my kids classes earlier on in the day then heading into the city for baking class. The easiest meal I can prepare is Sloppy Joes. I can have it  in the crock pot and throw together salad made for dinner.

Thursday: I will be at the Kolbe Fund charity event so it’s a leftover night for the boys.

Friday: Homemade Pizzas and a much needed movie night with the family

Saturday: Making Sausage, Peppers and Onions in the crock pot. Perfect Saturday dinner that my husband can easily put together with fries for him and the boys while I am doing a Essential Oil party.

Sunday: I will be in recovery mode and I know I will not want to spend more than 3o minutes in the kitchen preparing dinner. I found this new roasted chicken recipe that I can’t wait to try with roasted baby potatoes and Asparagus.

Just remember when you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with “life” a little organization goes a long way. Most of these meals can be prepared in less than 30 minutes and some can even be fully cooked within that time.
