REAL FOOD Menu Plan 10.31.16

Our construction is almost done, thank god! It’s been a long road but so worth it in the end. I’ve tried very hard to keep it together with serving family meals but it hasn’t worked out as well as I planned. Looking forward to getting back on track this week since our dining room is finally back in order and we can eat a proper family dinner at a real table.

This week we have Halloween which is always a crazy night, a few nights of after school activities and some cool evenings that make for a great soup night. Got any fun fall meals that you love to make on those cool nights? Share them, I’m always looking for new recipes to serve my family.

REAL FOOD Menu Plan 10.31.16

Monday: It’s HALLOWEEN! I want something easy to serve since we will be busy carving pumpkins, getting costumes ready and trick or treating. Slow Cooker Mac & Cheese and homemade chicken tenders.

Tuesday: We are having a traditional “TACO TUESDAY” I have taco meat already prepared in the freezer that I can take out once I get home and throw in the slow cooker to warm up until we are ready to eat.

Wednesday: I have leftover ham from last week and this ham and bean soup is a perfect dish to make with leftover ham. Don’t forget to use the bone.

Thursday: My favorite night of the week – LEFTOVER NIGHT!

Friday: It’s going to be a chilly night and one of our favorite soups is French Onion. It’s super easy to make and you can even prepare the onions the night before and place into a container until you are ready to make it.

Saturday: I’m going out with my girls so the boys are on their own!

Sunday: Making a beef roast in a red wine sauce serving it with brussel sprouts from the garden and mash potatoes.
