I’m not gonna lie, it’s going to to be tough for me to stick to my menu plan this week. Our house is under construction and I’m still sick. Not a good start to the week, but I will have a positive attitude that things will start to look up. My motto is to always have a plan, even if it doesn’t work out. It will make you feel more organized and motivated to stick with it. This week since things are so up in the air with the house I am planning meals that will be easy to make but also easy to freeze to use another time. I think this should be a good rule of thumb every week considering you never know what’s going to happen and you want to know that the food you purchased will not go to waste.
REAL FOOD Menu Plan 10.17.16
Monday: We were at the shore over the weekend to escape the dust and I have extra soup and pasta leftovers that I will bring home and serve for dinner.
Tuesday: This is our busiest day of the week and we will all be playing catch up since the boys were out of school on Monday. Serving Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup.
Wednesday: Construction should be finishing up, but just in case I plan on testing out this slow cooker Pumpkin Lasagna recipe. I can easily throw it together and then leave it to cook. Hope my crew likes it.
Thursday: My favorite night of the week – LEFTOVER NIGHT!
Friday: Love making homemade pizzas on a Friday night then making popcorn and watching a family movie.
Saturday: Dinner with friends
So that’s my menu plan for this week…hope it’s inspired you to think outside the box when feeding your family. Just remember when you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with “life” a little organization goes a long way. If you are still looking for inspiration head over to my Menu Plans. On Pinterest?
