It’s Sunday and I’m traveling back to Philly from DC. I spent the weekend at the WOW Summit hosted by Moms Meets held at the beautiful Gaylord National. It’s been forever since I took time to focus on myself and brand and it was so worth it. I became inspired again by the amazing people I met throughout the weekend. My life has changed since going back to teaching and I was unsure of how O’Boy! Organic could fit, but after this weekend I’ve learn how I can contribute in the ever changing blogging arena that I’ve immersed myself in 6 years ago. It’s an exciting new time for me and I can’t wait to share everything with all of you soon.
In the meantime, I’ve got some favorites for you to check out.
FASHION – There is something about wearing products that make a difference. These PrAna pants were a perfect fit and shows off these bracelets beautifully don’t you think? PrAna clothing, 100 Good Deeds and Lotus Sky are all companies that use sustainable practices and give back to those in need.
BOOKS – National Geographic Kids spoke at WOW Summit over the weekend and I got a chance to view some of their newest chapter books they have out for kids. My son isn’t a reader, in fact he hates it unless he is reading non-fiction. These books give you a story but also useful and true information about the people or animals involved in the story.
RECIPE – I’m all about the slow cooker these days. These fall slow cooker dinners look absolutely amazing and I need to try every single one. Photo Credit The Kitchn
DIY – Sometimes it seems overwhelming to try to avoid toxic chemicals in your everyday life. But here’s the thing: it doesn’t have to be so hard. Every step to reduce harmful chemicals, no matter how small, makes a difference in levels of toxic chemicals in your body. Here are some tips and DIY recipes that you can do within minutes to reduce the toxins in your life and home.
That’s it for me, hope you have a great week ahead and I can’t wait to share some of my fall favorites next time around.
