I’ve been adding more and more gluten free foods into my diet and the diet of my family for a few months now. As a child I was allergic to wheat and I still feel that at times gluten foods are affecting my body in ways that I don’t like which is why I’ve been educating myself and interested in trying more and more gluten free meals. You can imagine my excitement when I got the news that I was chosen as one of the 15 bloggers that will be doing the Living Gluten Free – 30 Day #LivingNowFoods Challenge hosted by Mamavation. YAY!!!
How the Challenge Works……
* Living Gluten Free for 30 days
* Share 3 Gluten Free recipes, and my hope is to educate others (and myself) on gluten free living weekly to the O’Boy! Organic Community
* Share my daily experiences on social media – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Google+
* Living Now Foods sent over a huge box of 100% GMO free gluten free grains, flours, mixes for me to use when cooking throughout the month. I will be sharing each one with my readers weekly.
My first challenge for this week for me was to get back into the swing of things and get back on track health wise. One of the mixes given to me by Living Now was a Banana Chocolate Chip Bread Mix. I thought this would be perfect for an afternoon snack or even dessert with homemade ice cream or sorbet.
After the month is over I will re-cap the challenge and share how my body has changed. You can join in the challenge too throughout the month by going gluten free, even part time – 3 meals a week or 1 meal a day. PLEASE Share your thoughts and any sort of gluten free meals that your family loves, to make it easy I’ve created a linky for you to share educational gluten free posts, and real food gluten free recipes. SHARE AWAY!
