We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but we soon forget that when we are running late for work or school. I love preparing breakfast the night before (when I can) so that my mornings are (almost) stress free. One way that I can make sure that we have a healthy breakfast is by making a breakfast bake. I’ve done crock pot oats which has been a huge hit and most recently I tried combining oats, Quinoa and Amaranth grains together. It’s just as easy and gives you even more nutrients to start the day.
Gluten Free Breakfast Grain Bake
- ¾ cup gluten free oats
- ⅔ cup quinoa
- ⅓ cup amaranth
- 2 cups milk - organic cow's milk or almond
- 4 cups water
- ¼ cup organic raw sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Using a crock pot put all the ingredients together and place on low heat and let cook for 7 hours. Then it's done. Once finished you can add your favorite fruit and enjoy!
