A few weeks ago I got the most exciting email from Disney Social Media Moms. To be honest almost didn’t open it, seriously could you imagine. I would be kicking myself big time. But, I did and I was shocked that I was invited to attend the Disney Social Media Moms 2015 Celebration. I never get these type of invites, it’s almost not even on my radar, but finally after 5 years of blogging and being on the social media scene….. good things are happening. YAY!!!
The Disney Social Media conference takes place May 7th through 10th in Walt Disney World. The conference started back in 2010 and recently introduced Disney On the Road Celebrations. Throughout the last few years I’ve had the opportunity to meet social media heads of Disney World at the Philadelphia On the Road Celebration and other various social media conferences. I was truly amazed by how the Disney Social Media and Marketing team work to make not only their millions of guests feel like a VIP at all times but also their employees. I was so impressed by how they think of EVERYTHING – nothing is ever overlooked. Because of meeting them and hearing first hand how Disney handles things behind the scenes it’s the sole reason I wanted to take my kiddos to Disney.
Most of you know, I have 2 boys ages 7 and 9 years old. Living in the northeast we have the opportunity to travel to many different places. Disney has always been on our bucket list to do with kids but because of financial reasons we never did it. After receiving the coveted invitation we knew that we couldn’t pass up this opportunity. No, it’s NOT free but we get an amazing deal that makes it more than affordable for our family.
This year the conference will be held at the Disney Yacht Club. The pictures look amazing and is walking distance from Epcot and a convenient boat ride to Disney Hollywood Studios. For me and my family this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I feel truly blessed and have so much appreciation for Disney, Disney Social Media Moms and BSM Media for what they provide for individuals and families through their social media conferences and opportunities.
