Benefits of Stress Away Essential Oil

Have you ever had one of those days that made you want to go back to bed? OK, folks I am not going to sugar coat this…yesterday, I had a real shitty day. My website went down, my son was late for school and I got locked out of my house….all happening before 9am. If I didn’t turn my attitude around I knew it would be a VERY long day for me and my family once they got home from work and school.

So I made myself a nice cup of tea (I really wanted wine but thought 9am was a bit early) and decided to dig out my Stress Away oil. I’ve been using more and more essential oils for various reasons and one of my favorites have been Stress Away. I love the smell of the blend which is made of lime, vanilla, copaiba, lavender, ocotea and cedarwood.

Benefits of Stress Away Essential Oil

* As a Sleep Aid

* Reducing Depression

* Increase Relaxation

* Helps Relieve Anxiety

Yesterday when I was totally stressed and expiring major anxiety, I simply rolled it on my wrists, temples and the back of my neck. The smell alone makes you calm, seriously no lie! You can also use a diffuser or if you are experiencing restless nights apply a few drops to the soles of your feet and behind your ears. One thing I wish I would of done is put a  few drops along with some Epsom salts to bath water, maybe that is something I will try this weekend to regain some peace after a crazy Halloween night.

Have you tried Stress Away before? If not but intrigued and want to learn more about Stress Away and other essential oils, head over to O’Boy! Organic Essential Oils to learn more. As a bonus when you purchase a premium starter kit you will receive Stress Away along with a roller so you can use it both ways.

Please note that I am not a  doctor, nor to I pretend to be one on my website. While I and many others think essential oils are fabulous, they have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not regulated to treat, diagnose, cure or prevent any disease.

    I’m totally hooked on essential oils. I love lavender for those times when I need to calm down. I also put it on my pillow if I can’t sleep at night. I will definitely look into Stress Away too.

      I need to start putting it on my pillow and also on a little cotton ball for the car!

    So sorry about your horrible day Trina. I’ve been super sick and stressed lately too. I could use a dose of Stress Away! Hope things start looking up for you!

    Ugh, sorry to hear about your bad day – I hear you! I’m feeling under the weather and am thinking about which oils I can use to help me feel better too! I love lavender and joy for stress reduction and a mood lifter!

      I haven’t used Joy that much….it will be on my list to try the next time I am feeling stressed. I am sure with a name like “Joy” it should work wonders 🙂

    I think I could definitely use some stress away. I haven’t tried essential oils yet but I’ve heard great things.

    I’ve only recently tried EOs and I love them! Finally, a scent that doesn’t give me a headache, and actually makes me feel better. I have to look into this one. I don’t stress a lot, but some days…like this last Monday…are a real challenge.

      I don’t stress too much but I am a little OCD about things so at times I can go over the edge. LOL – When feeling really stressed after I put the oil on my wrist I continue to inhale it and in no time I am feeling better.

    I totally agree ablut essential oils changing moods! Sometimes I just don’t feel motivated to get up and teach my morning classes, so I put on some Highest Potential or Valor and it helps a ton! I can’t believe I have been using YL oils for two years and still not tried Stress Away!

    • Trina October 29, 2014 at 7:13 pm #

      You need to try it, you will be hooked on the small. I will need to try Valor, do you put it on the same way as any other oil?

    I have never used Essential Oils. I don’t know why. They have just never entered my radar screen. I may have to rethink though. I’ve got a lot of stress right now and I am looking for natural ways to deal with it.

      I was on meds for a long time and got off everything….I haven’t taken even headache meds in over a month. If you ever want to learn more about YL please connect with me.

    I wonder if you can use it proactively to keep you calm during the day. I bet your food class will be amazing!

    • Trina October 29, 2014 at 7:15 pm #

      Yes you can Anna! I’ve been using it as well as Lavender every day. Plus putting Lemon and Peppermint in my water too.

    Thanks for the post! I’ve never tried essential oils, partly because I really didn’t know what to do with them!

    As I’ve had issues with anxiety in the past, I may need to give this a shot. Thanks again!
